CLEVELAND, Ohio – A surviving top Iranian security official who Washington hoped to negotiate with to end the conflict has a daughter who trained at University Hospitals earlier in her medical career.
Dr. Fatemeh Ardeshir Larijani was an assistant professor at Emory University School of Medicine until she was dismissed in late January, according to the school’s newspaper. She is the daughter of Ali Larijani, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran.
