Kilwin’s Ice Cream is a popular ice cream shop on Bridge Park Avenue in Dublin. The store is specially known for its variety of unique ice cream flavors as well as other treats such as fudge and truffles.
Employees Jackson and Layla tell The Ravine more about what makes their shop a great place to visit. Jackson has worked at the ice cream shop for a year and a half and Layla around six months. Jackson stated that “Kilwin’s is definitely a great place to get ice cream but it’s also just fun to come and hang out.” Layla added to this statement saying that “it’s such a great place for teens to hang out because we have so much seating and it’s in a very social spot in general. . .Also we get all sorts of customers, not just groups of teens but also families of all ages.”
When asked about something that Kilwin’s does that’s particularly unique, Jackson stated that “we like to set up decorations according to the time of year, like right now we have St. Patty’s day theme.” Layla pointed out that “a lot of people would probably think that an ice cream shop would only be worth going to in the summer, but the store has a fun atmosphere that makes people show up year round.”…
