Artificial intelligence has taken a number of different forms throughout its history, but AI as we know it is changing, and fast.

The advancement of AI is raising concerns regarding responsible AI use, and the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office is announcing new steps to protect users from predatory AI practices, specifically AI chatbots.

“We’ve seen AI essentially pretending to be licensed health care professionals,” said Al Schmidt, Secretary of the Commonwealth of PA. “When you have a bot interacting with a child pretending to be a licensed health care professional, that is not legal.”
