GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On March 14, visitors to Blandford Nature Center in Grand Rapids can attend the 56th annual Sugarbush Festival with educational activities for all ages throughout the afternoon.
“Each year, the festival brings inquisitive children, hobbyists, scientists, artists, and everyone in between to Blandford Nature Center,” said Stacy Stout, president and CEO of Blandford Nature Center, in a statement.
Environmentalist group announces free community classes
Attractions for families include lessons on maple sugaring, blacksmith demonstrations, puppet shows, wildlife shows and more.
“It’s a joyful way for people to learn together, connect with nature, and celebrate community while welcoming the first signs of spring,” Stout said in a statement.
The Sugarbush Festival at Blandford Nature Center will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and guests will able to order concessions from food trucks throughout the afternoon…
