Students gather for African American achievement conference in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — More than 1,000 young people attended the African American Male Achievement Conference at Grand Rapids Community College Friday.

The conference is in its 11th year of teaching students from Grand Rapids Public Schools and neighboring districts skills to help achieve success.
