Midday Bus Stop Showdown, Man Grazed As Gunfire Erupts On Jacksonville Corner

A quiet wait for the bus turned chaotic Thursday when a man in his 40s was grazed by a bullet at a Jacksonville bus stop on University Boulevard near Fort Caroline Road. What started as a confrontation between a person and a small group at the stop escalated into violence, ending with a single shot that clipped one man instead of killing him.

Jacksonville Fire Rescue treated the injured man at the scene, and he was not reported to have life-threatening injuries.
