MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Thousands of runners from across the nation are set to line up early Saturday morning for the 29th annual Myrtle Beach Marathon.
While many are running the race for fun, one participant is using the race as part of a bigger mission. Jason Conway of Pennsylvania is taking part in the Full Marathon for the first time as part of a series of marathons he’s running as part of his nationwide initiative.

“In 2021, I decided to embark on this mission, my miracle mission, and it’s Running4Miracles,” Conway said. “What we’re doing is we’re running a marathon in each state, celebrating NICU preemie survivors.”
