MARION, Iowa — The Marion City Council has approved a development agreement to sell the city’s former library site to private developers for $1 and provide a 20-year tax rebate package.
The council unanimously approved the agreement Thursday after a brief public hearing. The decision marks the latest step in efforts to redevelop the vacant lot at 1095 Sixth Ave.
