‘Have hope, don’t get paralyzed in fear’; Grief counselor talks moving forward after 6th Street shooting

AUSTIN (KXAN) — When tragedy strikes, it can feel difficult or impossible to move forward. After the mass shooting in Downtown Austin, Cathy Collins with the Christi Center said to take baby steps toward the goal of healing.

Collins, a Crime Victim Advocate with the Christi Center, said community is key when overcoming a tragedy.
