BROADCAST TRANSCRIPT:OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Omaha Economic Development Corporation is moving forward with two development projects it hopes will bring economic growth and jobs to historically underinvested neighborhoods in North and East Omaha.

The Omaha Inland Port Authority, a two-year-old initiative that aims to drive economic growth and attract employers to historically underinvested neighborhoods, approved the projects in January 2026. The projects are located at 16th and Locust in North Omaha and near Eppley Airfield in East Omaha. Tenants for the developments have not yet been finalized.
