ST. LOUIS – It was announced Thursday morning that Six Flags Entertainment Corporation has entered a definitive agreement to sell seven of its parks, including Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka.
The company said the decision to sell the parks to EPR Properties comes at a time of an “ongoing strategy to optimize and strengthen our park portfolio.”
Six Flags St. Louis is among the seven parks intended to be sold. Other parks listed are:
- Worlds of Fun: Kansas City, MO
- Michigan’s Adventure: Grand Rapids, MI
- Valleyfair: Minneapolis, MN
- Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston: Galveston, TX
- Six Flags La Ronde: Montreal, QC
- Six Flags Great Escape: Queensbury, NY
