Springfield man indicted after alleged attempt to lure minor

LINCOLN CITY, Ore. (KATU) — A Springfield man is facing felony charges after Lincoln City Police (LCP) said he tried to meet a minor in Lincoln City, following sexually explicit online messages.

LCP tells us Rigoberto Lezama-Luna, 38, of Springfield, was arrested Feb. 27, 2026, after attempting to pick up a minor at an undisclosed location in Lincoln City. Investigators said Lezama-Luna sent sexually charged messages through social media to an undercover officer posing as a minor.

Lezama-Luna was taken to the Lincoln County Jail and booked on charges of

  • Luring a minor
  • Online sexual corruption of a child in the 1st degree
