RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Northern Nevada small businessman Drew Ribar filed to run for Nevada Assembly District 40 to bring a working-class perspective and decades of private sector experience to a race dominated by government insiders, according to his campaign news release.
“My family has been part of Nevada for generations,” Ribar said. “My uncle taught at Carson City High School. My family built businesses here. I’ve spent my life working here, employing people here, and raising a family here. And like a lot of Nevadans, I’m tired of watching the system get harder and harder for regular people.”
