Voice actors from Pixar Animation Studios gave a big shoutout to the city of Beaverton Thursday, March 5, as the Disney-owned company prepares to launch its newest movie, “Hoppers.”
That’s because the fictional small town featured in the 3D computer-generated film bears the same name as the Washington County city of 100,000 residents.
As such, both Bobby Moynihan, of “Saturday Night Live” fame and who voices King George, a jovial beaver who acts as leader of his pond, and Piper Curda, also famous as Kennedy from Disney teen sitcom A.N.T. Farm and who lends her voice to the “Hoppers” main character — who uses technology to transfer her consciousness into a robotic beaver — were on hand at The Patricia Reser Center for the Arts to celebrate the movie’s opening day of March 6…
