- One man was killed and another injured inside a vehicle after a shooting early Sunday in the 5200 block of 14th Street West in South Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
- Deputies say the two victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds inside a car surrounded by shell casings. The 27-year-old victim died at the scene while a 22-year-old was taken to the hospital.
- Detectives believe the shooting was targeted and continue investigating what led up to it. No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made, MCSO said.
