Westfield’s ‘Green Building’ has been relocated to its final destination

WESTFIELD, Ind. — An almost 200-year-old historic building in Westfield is getting a new lease on life.

The iconic “Green Building” was built in 1837, just 11 years after Indiana first became a state. As part of the reconstruction along State Road 32, INDOT announced it was covering half of the $2,393,000 cost to move and rehabilitate the landmark.
