CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Bianca Moss loves helping people put a roof over their heads. She knows what it is like to not have one.
“When COVID hit, I lost my car and my house and everything. It was me and my dog and we ended up Uptown, homeless,” Moss said.
Moss is now a peer support specialist with Hearts for the Invisible, an organization that works to help people experiencing homelessness. But before that, she says she relied on the group herself. She eventually met Jessica Lefkowitz with Hearts for the Invisible, who helped her get her life back on track…
