No one hurt after overnight fire in Waxhaw requires tanker truck

WAXHAW, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Everyone is safe after a fire overnight, according to the Waxhaw Fire Department.

Around 12:30 a.m. on March 6, firefighters responded to a fire in the southern part of their coverage area. Due to limited hydrant availability, a tanker truck was dispatched to make sure enough water was available.

Firefighters arrived to find an RV fully involved in fire close to a home. Waxhaw fire crews, along with the help of other fire departments, were able to control the fire. No one was injured…
