He’s accused of smashing Oakland County license plate readers. But 1 camera caught his car first

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – An Oakland County man is accused of smashing several license plate readers “to pieces,” but police said one of the cameras caught footage of his car first.

Spencer Anderson, 24, of Clarkston, was charged with three counts of malicious destruction of police property.

Waterford police learned on Feb. 23 that their Automatic License Plate Readers within the township were no longer active. Officers discovered that the license plate readers were forcibly broken from their mounts and “smashed to pieces.”…
