A GoFundMe campaign has been started to support the family of a North Hall High School teacher who was killed in an accident late Friday night.
According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, math teacher and golf coach Jason Hughes was accidentally run over by a teen driver after he tripped and fell in the road by his home. At the time of the incident, a group of teenagers were leaving his house after attempting to drape the home in toilet paper during junior/senior wars. All parties stayed to render aid at the scene.
North Hall High School posted the GoFundMe page to its social media accounts. Initially, the page aimed to raise $75,000 to cover immediate expenses for Hughes’ wife and two children. As of Sunday morning, the page had raised over $90,000…
