THREE RIVERS, Mich. — The city of Three Rivers is in the early stages of recovery after a devastating tornado swept through the area, leaving a trail of destruction and prompting ongoing search and rescue efforts.

Neighborhoods in Three Rivers, located in St. Joseph County, remain blocked off as emergency crews continue to search for survivors. Mayor Angel Johnston emphasized the importance of keeping roads clear for first responders as the operation continues.
