“On Saturday, February 28, 2026, the Somerset Police Department was contacted by an individual who was receiving medical attention at the Charlton Memorial Hospital emergency room. Upon arriving at the hospital, Patrol Officer Quinn Fallon spoke with a male party who had sustained severe facial injuries as the result of an assault and battery that occurred in the area of The Mallard establishment earlier that morning.
Due to the severity of the injuries, Somerset Police Detective James Cardella was assigned to investigate the incident. With the assistance of Somerset Patrol Officers Russell Bezanson and Luis Torres, who secured video surveillance from area businesses, Detective Cardella developed probable cause and subsequently applied for and was granted two arrest warrants for the following individuals:
