Florida State softball went back and forth with the Chanticleers for seven innings. A pair of Seminoles had a career day in the slugfest.

Isa Torres began the game with a bunt single, advancing to second on a wild pitch from CCU starter, Abby Henderson. A single off the bat of Jaysoni Beachum gave the Seminoles an early 1-0 lead.
In the bottom of the inning, Bella Dimitrijevic had a one out homerun to tie the game. CCU met the long ball with another homerun to give themselves a lead. Coastal tacked on another homerun before the end of the inning, putting them up two runs.
FSU had the bases loaded after two outs, a single and a pair of walks. With nowhere to put another runner, both Torres and Jaysoni Beachum singled to bring in four runs…
