SYLVANIA, Ohio (WTVG) – Starting next year, Sylvania Schools will offer a new career tech program for students looking to become firefighters or emergency medical technicians (EMTs).
According to the school, the two-year program will give students real-world, hands-on training in firefighting, emergency medical response and public safety operations.
Students will be able to earn the state-recognized Firefighter I & II and Nationally Registered EMT certifications required to serve their communities as first responders.
