Ascension Parish volunteer firefighters responded to a residential fire in the 12000 block of Deck Boulevard in the Geismar area at 2:24 p.m. March 6, according to a news release.
Geismar Volunteer Fire Department was the primary agency with 7th District Volunteer Fire Department responding as backup, per the release. Galvez Lake, St. Amant, and 5th Ward volunteer fire departments assisted.
