LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — The Lafayette Fire Department is taking action to address its shortage of firefighters and improve response times.
The department celebrated the graduation of 14 new recruits who completed a 16-week academy focused on firefighting, EMS, and rescue response fundamentals.
