Scrap metal fire brought under control after three hours

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Green Bay Metro Fire Department responded to a scrap metal fire at the 1300 block of Tomlin Street at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Crews found a large pile of scrap metal producing a significant amount of smoke and flames.

The mixed scrap metal piles were broken apart and, over three hours, the fire was extinguished…
