Denver, Colorado – A surge of early spring warmth could sweep across the Rocky Mountain region during St. Patrick’s Day week as a strong ridge of high pressure builds over the western United States.

According to the NOAA Climate Prediction Center’s 8–14 day outlook, the period from March 15 through March 21 favors well above-normal temperatures across much of the western United States, including the central and southern Rockies.
