Stephanie Salgado, 23, and her father opened a small food market, La Auténtica, in Irondale in early 2024. It was her father’s dream to work for himself when he turned 50.
Salgado sees a future for herself running the shop, but the family didn’t anticipate such a tumultuous beginning for their little store.
