The Apex Police Department shared condolences following the death of Deputy Kaleb Mitchell of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, who was killed in an early morning vehicle crash. Deputy Mitchell served as a motor officer and was a husband and father.
The department noted that his passing is a reminder of the dangers law enforcement officers face daily. Since February 22, three officers in the state have died in motor vehicle crashes.
