A Detroit police officer faces criminal charges for allegedly stealing intimate photos and videos from a woman’s phone while she was in custody, WXYZ reports.
Officer Derond Crawford, who has been suspended, is charged with one count each of using a computer to commit a crime, common-law offenses, and interfering with electronic communications in connection with the incident.
