HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – Last week, a Huber Heights police officer took a vacation in Dubai to see a friend, but by Saturday, his peace had turned to chaos overnight.
23-year-old Drew Metzger was supposed to fly home on Sunday, but the air strikes in Dubai forced him to extend his stay.
After a few days stranded in Dubai, Metzger managed to land in Dayton on Friday, March 6. The day before, he landed in New York after being on the only flight from Dubai to the U.S., and he said getting on that flight was pure luck…
