HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) – Angola gymnastics tumbled towards their first IHSAA regional team title in program history on Saturday at Huntington North High School.
The Hornets won the team title with an overall score of 112.150, winning by less than two-tenths of a point over runner-up Carroll (111.975). Bailey Lanoue led Angola with first-place finishes in the uneven bars (9.775) and vault (9.725) while also finishing fourth in the all-around.

Chargers senior Avery Ziembo won the all-around title with an overall score of 38.350. Ziembo also finished first in the beam with a score of 9.575.

Angola, Carroll and Homestead advance as a team to next weekend’s IHSAA State Finals.
