NASHVILLE, TN (WGHP) — It was a big weekend in Nashville as more than 100 Remarkable Women were recognized for strengthening communities across the country.
The Piedmont Triad’s Remarkable Woman for 2026, Martha Kaley, was awarded a community impact award for her work in healthcare.
Remarkable Woman of Piedmont Triad is breast cancer survivor who has raised millions to help save lives around world
Kaley is the founder of earlier.org, a nonprofit dedicated to the earlier detection of breast cancer.
Since 1995, the website has funded 138 research seed grants, distributing more than $5 million to research institutions around the world.
