SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — March 8th, declared “Fry Sauce Day” in Utah by Governor Spencer Cox in 2024, brought Utahns out of the woodwork to talk all things fry sauce.
In celebration, ABC4 took to the streets of Salt Lake to ask locals about the condiment rumored to be Utah-invented.
Ellis Valdez told ABC4 that his family sends bottles of fry sauce to his niece, who lives in Texas, claiming that homemade duplicates are never as good as the real thing that can be bought here in Utah. Valdez said that he believes Arctic Circle Fry Sauce is “the best” and cannot be duplicated…
