Seattleites looking for a joyful way to welcome spring can mark their calendars for the Seattle Color Festival: Holi 2026, returning on Saturday, March 28 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Seattle Center Mural Amphitheatre. You’ll get drenched in bright colors while dancing to live music beneath the iconic Space Needle!
The free, family-friendly event celebrates the vibrant tradition of Holi: a centuries-old Hindu festival that marks the arrival of spring, the end of winter, and a spirit of renewal, love, and community. Often called the Festival of Colors or Festival of Spring, Holi is known for its playful tradition of tossing brightly colored powders in the air and on one another.
Organizers say the Seattle festival drew more than 10,000 attendees last year, and another large turnout is expected in 2026. Entry to the event is free, but advance registration is required. When registering online, attendees can either choose the free ticket option or purchase color packets ahead of time to avoid waiting in long lines during the event…
