SPOKANE, WA — Federal authorities have announced the largest seizure of illegal narcotics in the history of the Eastern District of Washington following a series of coordinated raids in the Tri-Cities area.
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) executed multiple federal search warrants targeting a drug trafficking ring allegedly led by Amador Sanchez. Investigators say Sanchez and his co-conspirators utilized various homes across the region, including at least one in each of the Tri-Cities, to orchestrate and hide their illicit operations.
