A federal judge on Friday declined to dismiss most charges against the Loudoun County School Board and current and former LCPS officials in a lawsuit related to the infamous 2021 sex assault scandal at Stone Bridge High School.
Judge Leonie M. Brinkema of the Eastern District of Virginia ruled on a motion to dismiss allegations against the School Board, former Superintendent Scott Ziegler, former Chief of Staff Mark Smith, Stone Bridge High School Principal Timohty Flynn, former Stone Bridge assistant principal and current Rock Ridge High School Principal Calvin Adams, and school counselor Cynthia McCarthy.
