Edgewater police officers stopped a 2017 Yamaha R3 sport bike bearing a fictitious Connecticut license plate on Friday, March 6 at 3:09 a.m., according to Edgewater Police Lt. Tim Farrell.
Ptl. Julian Delgado and Ptl. Matthew Tibus conducted the stop and identified the operator as Kushtrim Mjeku, a 44-year-old Bronx resident. Officers determined Mjeku was driving with a suspended license and had several outstanding warrants, Farrell said.
Police said a search incident to arrest led to the discovery of cocaine, methamphetamine, butanediol, ecstasy, prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia.
