A jury convicted an Upstate New York man on assault charges after he stabbed a responding police officer during a domestic violence call last summer.
Rayquell M. Grant, 27, of Buffalo, was found guilty of attempted assault in the first degree and assault in the second degree following a two-day trial, Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane announced Friday.
