Cleveland-based nonprofit helps domestic violence survivors in 4 Tennessee counties

CLEVELAND, Tenn. — A woman pooled her income to start a non-profit that spans multiple counties in our area with the aim of helping people get back on their feet.

Ruby Pineda founded Ladies With A Mission, which serves communities in Hamilton, McMinn, Polk, and Bradley Counties.

Pineda says Ladies With a Mission gave out over 25,000 pounds of food to people in need, with most of that being given out during November’s SNAP-EBT crisis.

She says they followed up by giving out over 6,000 presents during the holidays in December…
