ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday that a man armed with a knife was shot by a police officer.
The sheriff’s office said deputies responded to the Waffle House at Highway 515 and Highway 53 in Jasper about 1:20 p.m. Deputies said a man was damaging cars and trying to set them on fire.
