300+ student engineers compete at S.C. robotics finals in Lexington County

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — More than 300 student engineers put their robots and their teamwork to the test on Saturday in Lexington County.

Dozens of teams from across the state gathered at River Bluff High School for the South Carolina finals of the VEX Robotics competition, hoping to earn a spot on the world stage.

Students from across South Carolina spent months designing, coding, and building robots, and they finally put their machines to the test.
