Detroit police are looking for a suspect who broke into a pickup on the city’s west side and walked off with a handgun, medications and several credit cards, authorities say. The early-morning break-in happened Feb. 15 on the 1400 block of Holden Street, and investigators say the suspect took off in a white Chevrolet Tahoe. The case remains under investigation, and detectives are asking anyone who knows something to speak up.
What Police Released
According to CBS Detroit, investigators say a male suspect of undisclosed age broke into a GMC Sierra sometime between about 3 and 5 a.m. and took a handgun along with a black bag holding medication, eyeglasses and credit cards. Detroit police released still images showing the suspect and the white Tahoe believed to be the getaway vehicle. Detectives say those photos could be key to putting a name to the face or tracking down the SUV.
