COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Two shootings on Columbus’ East Side late Saturday involved young people, underscoring what community advocates say is a continuing need to address gun violence even as the city’s homicide numbers remain low so far this year.
At around 11:45 p.m. Saturday, Columbus police responded to reports of a male with a gunshot wound at the 3900 block of Rivercreek Bay Way near the old Eastland Mall. Police found a male juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound.
