More than $430K in taxpayer money stolen from City of Arab in invoice scam

The City of Arab lost more than $430,000 of taxpayer money after falling victim to a scam.

Investigators revealed that the incident happened when someone pretending to work for the construction company building a new recreation center sent a fake invoice, which the city paid.
