Home destroyed by fire in east Limestone County Sunday morning; no injuries

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala — A structure fire Sunday morning required a multi-agency response and roughly 33,000 gallons of water to extinguish, according to the East Limestone Fire Department.

Units were paged at approximately 8:10 a.m. to The Lane East, north of Wooley Springs Road. First-arriving crews reported heavy fire throughout the entire structure and conducted all operations defensively.
