THP running safety checkpoints across Tennessee throughout March

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) will set up a series of sobriety checkpoints across the state throughout March in an effort to reduce impaired driving and prevent alcohol-related crashes.

Troopers will be stationed at key locations in both urban and rural counties, including Shelby, Giles, Lawrence, and Maury, among others. Drivers are urged to plan ahead, designate a sober driver, and never get behind the wheel while under the influence.
