The Monroe Charter Township Fire Department announced that five applicants have successfully completed the written exam, oral interviews, and agility test to join the department. The new recruits are Jeremy Molinari, Mike Brown, Jacob Lingar, Kyle Espada, and Jacob Ingham.
The department also thanked the Cadets Program for helping with the agility test. The program is open to youth ages 14–18. Applications are now being accepted for paid on call firefighters for the fall hiring process. No experience is required, and all training is provided and paid for by Monroe Township.
