Multiple departments battle fire in South Lubbock

LUBBOCK COUNTY, Texas — Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office is responding alongside several local fire departments to a multi-structure fire in the 1200 block of 132nd Street.

According to the sheriff’s office, the original call for a trailer on fire came in at 8:54 p.m. The fire later spread to other nearby structures and was upgraded to a multi-structure fire around 9 p.m. Two RVs and one mobile home were fully involved by the fire. Red Cross has been contacted to help firefighters and anyone whose home was affected by the fire. No injuries were reported and the fire has been contained.
